Welcome to Great South Bay Endoscopy, located in East Patchogue, New York, a new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to bringing advanced endoscopy procedures to the people of Suffolk County. Established by a group of prominent gastroenterologists, we are committed to providing the highest quality specialty care in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Offering A Complete Range of Endoscopy Procedures

We offer a complete range of advanced diagnostic services including Upper Endoscopy for conditions such as heartburn and hiatal hernia, and for the evaluation of gastroesophageal acid reflux (GERD) evaluation. Our endoscopy procedures enable us to diagnose and treat Barrett’s esophagus, Celiac disease and peptic ulcer disease, evaluate gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding and anemia, diagnose tumors of the upper intestines, and even dilate structures in the GI tract. We also perform colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy procedures to screen for colon cancer and diagnose lower GI tract problems. Our doctors also perform polyp removal and surveillance, and diagnose and manage Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, including Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Additionally, we provide evaluations of tumors of the lower intestine, and diagnose diverticulosis and hemorrhoids. If you have had any symptoms such as:

  • cough or shortness of breath
  • fever or chills
  • repeated shaking with chills
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • muscle pain
  • new loss of taste or smell

Please notify staff member when attempting to schedule or coming in for your appointment.

In preparation for your procedure , you will be asked to take a COVID 19 molecular assay test (nasal swab).

  • After you take the test please make attempts to self isolate/quarantine till your procedure.
  • If positive you will be asked to self isolate and coordinate treatment options with your primary care doctor. If positive your procedure may be delayed 21 days.
  • On the day of your appointment or procedure please wear a mask and follow instructions entering the facility. Your Ride will not be able to enter the facility and should be available off premises. Please have the cellphone of your ride available so we can coordinate discharge and pick up.
